Aam Aadmi Party - An Alternative To Corrupt Political Establishment

The newly-launched Aam Aadmi Party offers itself as an alternative to what it describes as a corrupt political establishment Claimants on the ‘aam aadmi’ shared close space with it. A Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) rally was demanding wages and rights for anganwadi workers, while the All India Confederation of SC/ST organisations was there for reservation in promotions and private sector. The party has adopted the path of fighting against corruption, but it is yet to work out its economic policy. AAP member Yogendra Yadav in an interview said the party has just worked out the constitution's guarantee of providing economic equality to all. Yadav said the party does not believe that in critical areas like health and education the state should withdraw its support at all.
